This small-batch chocolate cake is perfect for when you crave a sweet treat without the leftovers. It's quick, easy, and only requires one bowl!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a small 6-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until the batter is smooth and well combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan, spreading it evenly.
