These pan-fried pork chops are a quick and easy dinner option that's full of flavor. Cooked to perfection in one pan, they're perfect for a cozy weeknight meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in pork chops, about 1 inch thick
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Method

  1. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Season the pork chops on both sides with the spice mixture.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the pork chops to the skillet.
  3. Cook the pork chops for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of at least 145°F (63°C).
  4. Reduce the heat to low and add the unsalted butter to the skillet. Tilt the skillet to melt the butter and spoon it over the pork chops for added flavor.
  5. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
