Simple Fudgy Brownies

These fudgy brownies are perfect for summer gatherings or a sweet treat at home. Easy to make and irresistibly chocolatey, they're sure to become a family favorite.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar and vanilla extract.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the cocoa powder until smooth.
  4. Gently fold in the flour and salt until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips, then pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is just slightly gooey.
  7. Allow to cool in the pan on a wire rack before cutting into squares.
