Perfectly Pan-Fried Pork Chops

Ingredients
- 4 boneless pork chops, about 1 inch thick
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Method
- Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels and season them generously on both sides with salt and black pepper.
- In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper.
- Rub the spice mix evenly over both sides of the pork chops.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add the pork chops to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) and are golden brown.
- Remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest on a plate for 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
