Korean Spinach and Tofu Stir-fry
This Korean-inspired spinach and tofu stir-fry is a perfect beginner-friendly dish that highlights fresh vegetables with a pop of flavor. Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 300 grams firm tofu, drained and cubed
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 200 grams fresh spinach, washed
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- Flaky sea salt, to taste
Method
- Heat the sesame oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Add the cubed tofu to the skillet and sauté for 5-7 minutes until golden brown on all sides. Remove the tofu from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the fresh spinach to the skillet and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until wilted.
- Return the tofu to the skillet, add soy sauce, ground black pepper, and toss everything together to combine.
- Sprinkle the toasted sesame seeds over the stir-fry, then season with flaky sea salt to taste before serving.
