Ingredients

  • 2 cups sweet rice flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, plus more for greasing

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan with vegetable oil.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the sweet rice flour, granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Add the water and 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to the dry ingredients. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is firm.
  6. Remove from the oven and allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
