Garlic Butter Shrimp Sheet Pan
This garlic butter shrimp is a perfect blend of savory flavors. It's easy to make and requires minimal cleanup, making it ideal for a delicious weeknight meal or a special weekend treat.
Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Kosher salt, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 8 ounces asparagus, trimmed
Method
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large sheet pan with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes. Stir well and set aside.
- Place shrimp, asparagus, and lemon slices on the prepared sheet pan. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Pour the garlic butter mixture over the shrimp and vegetables. Toss gently to coat everything evenly.
- Spread everything out in a single layer and bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque and asparagus is tender.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
