Garlic Butter Shrimp One-Pan Dinner

This garlic butter shrimp dish combines succulent shrimp with a rich and comforting garlic butter sauce, all prepared in a single pan. It's perfect for a cozy dinner any night of the week.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Method

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
  2. Once the oil is hot, add the shrimp in a single layer and season with salt and black pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the unsalted butter. Allow it to melt.
  4. Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and cook for about 1 minute, stirring constantly, until the garlic is fragrant.
  5. Stir in the red pepper flakes and lemon juice, mixing well.
  6. Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and toss them to coat in the garlic butter sauce.
  7. Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the shrimp and give everything a final toss. Serve immediately.
