Garlic Butter Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Method

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
  2. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, and cook until the garlic is fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are pink and opaque.
  4. Stir in the lemon juice and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  5. Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
