Fudgy Brownies

These fudgy brownies are a classic dessert that everyone loves. Perfect for summer gatherings or a cozy evening at home, they come together with just a few simple ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the granulated sugar until well combined.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a separate bowl, then add to the wet ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges start to pull away from the sides of the pan and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Allow to cool in the pan before cutting into squares and serving.
