Classic Sheet-Pan Burgers
These classic sheet-pan burgers are perfect for a quick and satisfying dinner. Using a sheet pan makes cleanup a breeze, and you can add your favorite toppings for a personal touch.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 gluten-free burger buns
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- Lettuce leaves, for serving
- Tomato slices, for serving
- Pickles, for serving
Method
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until well combined.
- Divide the beef mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each into a patty, about 1 inch thick. Place them on the prepared sheet pan.
- Bake the patties in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
- Remove the sheet pan from the oven and place a slice of cheddar cheese on each burger. Return to the oven for an additional 3-5 minutes, until the cheese is melted.
- Meanwhile, toast the gluten-free burger buns in the oven or on a skillet until golden brown.
- Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a bun, topped with lettuce, tomato slices, and pickles. Serve immediately.
